Join Gabrielle for this special Winter Solstice inspired practice that brings together a gentle vinyasa flow incorporating Moon/Lunar Salutations ( w/ modified variations for all levels of participation) & live musical accompaniment with a hand crafted 25 string instrument known as a Lunatar played by the artist who fabricated it, Bill Fieger (its a cross between a sitar & a guitar)! Expect a practice infused with energizing sequences of movement, balanced with relaxing music to quiet the mind, while observing steadiness in the body with child or corpse pose, or even down dog... all levels are welcome to come experience!
Bill Fieger began his musical journey by taking guitar lessons at age 14. Than playing in rock and heavy metal bands. At 24 he bought his first Synthesizer and went in a more experimental direction. Since than He has composed, performed, and recorded Acoustic and Electronic music. Putting much of this out on cd. He also designs and builds musical instruments. During this event he will be providing background music in a meditating setting based on the values of Indian classical music and performed on a 25 string slide guitar.
